Four journalists were killed by Israeli occupation forces while covering the current events in the Gaza Strip. These journalists are Omar Abu Shawish, Muhammad Al-Salhi, Muhammad Jarghoun, and Ibrahim Lafi.

Communication is still lost with journalists Nidal Al-Wahidi and Haitham Abdel-Wahed, according to the Palestinian Journalists Syndicate, as they were performing their journalistic duty in the Beit Hanoun checkpoint area.

Al-Ghad Al-Arabi channel correspondent Ibrahim Qanan and a number of the channel’s crew members were injured in Khan Yunis during an Israeli bombing.

In addition, journalist Musab Shawar was injured by occupation forces bullets while covering confrontations in the city of Hebron in the occupied West Bank.

Meanwhile, the Israeli police beat the Sky News Arabia crew in Ashkelon and destroyed their equipment. The correspondent explained that the Israeli police pointed guns at his head, confiscated his phones, and took the channel's cameraman to another location.

The Israeli occupation targeted the Palestine Tower in the Gaza Strip, which consists of 14 floors and includes a number of media institutions, including the Shehab Agency and local radio stations.

JSC strongly condemns the unjustified killing and targeting of Palestinian journalists and media professionals who are performing their humanitarian and professional duty in reporting events and news. The use of violence against journalists represents a flagrant violation of human rights and freedom of the press.
