The Journalist Support Committee calls for a Media Charter Criminalizing Media Normalization with the Israeli Occupation

The Journalist Support Committee called for the need to establish a media code of ethics that criminalizes media normalization with the Israeli occupation.

The Committee confirmed in a statement its rejection of media normalization, conducted by Al-Jazeera Channel, which was evident by hosting the Israeli Occupation Army spokesman Afikhay Adrai, within its debate TV show "the opposite direction" under the pretext of freedom of speech.

The Journalist Support Committee refuses the media normalization with the Israeli occupation, whether by hosting Israeli personnel through Arab satellite channels or by Arab media delegations visiting the Israeli entity.

The Committee called for the accountability of Mr. Faisal al-Qasim, who hosted an Israeli general in "the opposite direction" program.

The Committee called for the implementation of the Federation of Arab Journalists' decisions in its last session held in Baghdad on the criminalization of media normalization with the Israeli occupation.
