The Journalist Support Committee participated in a Conference on "Journalists from Muslim Countries Against Extremism"
On the 20 and 21 of April 2016, The Group of Strategic Vision "Russia - Islamic World" organized a conference in Moscow – Russia, entitled “Journalists from Muslim Countries Against Extremism".
The Journalist Support Committee participated in the event, represented by Al-Manar's reporter from Moscow, Mr. Ahmad Al-Hajj Ali, by delivering a lecture entitled "the media’s role in provoking hate and terrorism”, and presenting the Islamic radio and television union’s role in encouraging fraternity and peace, under the regulation 6, 7, 9 and 10 of the media code of ethics, and addressing the expertise and experiences of the reporters, journalists, technicians and photographers working in the institutional members during the war on terror and resisting aggression.
